Terms of service
These terms set out what we agree on when you order a move: what is included, how to cancel and who is responsible for what.
1. General. This site presents Muuttokumppani's services and forwards quote requests. Sending a quote request does not bind the customer or create any obligation to pay.
2. Quote. Every move is offered as a written quote stating the scope of work, the price and the validity period. Price ranges shown on the site are indicative; the binding price is always the one in the quote.
3. Formation of the agreement. An agreement is formed when the customer accepts the quote in writing and Muuttokumppani confirms the date.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling. A confirmed move can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge until 48 hours before the agreed time. Later cancellations are handled according to the terms of the quote.
5. Customer's part. The customer takes care of the preparations agreed in the quote (for example packing done by the customer, lift reservation and parking space), unless otherwise agreed.
6. Liability. The service is governed by Finnish law, and these terms do not limit the customer's statutory consumer rights. Any damage is reported without delay and handled case by case.
7. Disputes. Disputes are resolved primarily by negotiation. A consumer has the right to bring the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
